But in all honesty: Life is fragile. Yours, mine, our pets' lives... It won't go on forever and the thought of "my thoughts will end one day" will not ever become 'not' scary to some degree. I like to think about it like this: "_Finally_ I'll have no more responsibilities, no more pressure, no more relentlessness. Just 'nothing'." (Sorry, if this sounds weird. I'm tired and existential stuff is hard to translate.) And why I die I will have given my best while I lived. There's nothing more anyone could ask for. Personally I don't think that's a bad outlook.
